To prepare for our design meeting

Before our meeting, check out our photo galleries first to find examples of what we can do with letterpress. Then create a Pinterest board and collect examples of invites or cards you like. Alternatively, email me pictures of examples. This will help me understand the style you are aiming for. You can also search for letterpress invites on Google.

Share your Pinterest board or screenshots with your co-collaborators to discuss and discover where your tastes overlap. The more you do this before the design meeting, the better prepared you’ll be to discuss what you want.

What to look for while gathering inspiration:

Compare your ideas against our pricing page to compare your budget against the wide range of options for inks and papers we offer.

I charge $60/hr for the design consult. Most design sessions are 1 to 2 hours, depending on the complexity of what you want and how many items you need to be designed.

When thinking about your design, we recommend considering the following best practices.

  • Limit your fonts to 2-3 typefaces.

  • Limit your color palette. Most wedding invites include 2-3 colors.

  • Match the style to your wedding or event theme.
