To prepare for our design meeting…

Before the design meeting, I recommend you collect pictures of other invites you like that you can share with me (via Pinterest board or screenshots), so I can get a better sense of what you want to aim for. Looking together at the invitation photo gallery and pre-made designs can be helpful ways to talk about where your tastes overlap.

The more you guys talk with each other about what you like and don't like before we meet, the more prepared you'll be to tell me what you want when I see you.

It would be helpful if you could email me the wording of the text we'll be printing, so I can just copy and paste it, rather than typing it all out during the meeting.

Having a general idea of what style of fonts you like can also make things go more quickly.

I charge $50/hr for the design consult and we can usually design it in 1-2 hours depending on the complexity of what you want and how many items you need designed.

I also recommend checking out the pricing page to see if how many ink colors work for your budget or if we should stick to one.
